Itinerary

DAY 1 - DELHI ARRIVAL

Upon your scheduled arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Depending on the time of arrival, you will enjoy a half-day or full-day tour of major tourist attractions.
The hotel you have booked is one of the best in Delhi, ensuring a comfortable stay to refresh you for the upcoming tour.

DAY 2 - JAIPUR TRANSFER VIA SULTANPUR

The enroute visit to Sultanpur is the official start of the birding tour before getting transferred to the hotel in Jaipur.
Sultanpur National Park is located on the way to Jaipur from Delhi, and hosts a variety of migratory birds every winter.
The park is home to birds such as Amur falcons, Painted stork, black-headed ibis, crested lark, flamingo, jacana, orchard, white wagtail, rosy pelican and many more from Central Asia and other parts of the world.
Upon arriving at the hotel in Jaipur, the rest of the day is free for leisure activities.

DAY 3 - JAIPUR SIGHTSEEING

The sightseeing tour of Jaipur will begin with an early excursion to Amer Fort, situated around 10 km away from the walled city.
A dedicated tour of the walled city will follow soon after, covering popular tourist destinations like Jal Mahal (pass by only), Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, City Palace and Govind Dev Ji Temple.
The tour will be guided by knowledgeable locals who will make for engaging and informative company throughout the day.

DAY 4 - TAL CHAPAR TRANSFER

Tal Chapar Sanctuary offers an engaging ride to a conservation area for Black Buck.
The Sanctuary is now a popular attraction for bird watchers due to its unique geographic conditions.
The landscape resembles a Savannah with expansive acacia and prosopis trees.
This “Typical Thorn Forest” is home to many migratory birds, such as the demoiselle crane, short-toed eagle, tawny eagle, brown dove, green bee eaters, blue jay, and more, especially during winters.
Visitors can enjoy an overnight stay in Tal Chapar.

DAY 5 - BIKANER TRANSFER

After checking out from the hotel, guests will be transported to Bikaner City by road.
Guests will check in to a pre-booked hotel and be taken on a special trip near the city.
Local sightseeing will include major attraction spots such as Gajner Palace, Junagarh Fort, Lalgarh Palace, Rampuria Haveli and Prachina Museum.

DAY 6 - KHEECHAN TRANSFER

The Khichan Bird Sanctuary is situated in the small village of Kheechan, located on the outskirts of the Thar Desert.
The sanctuary is a popular destination for bird enthusiasts who wish to witness the beautiful sight of large groups of demoiselle cranes that visit every year.
These birds come to the sanctuary to prepare for mating and stay for the entire winter season.
Kheechan bird sanctuary is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized for its significance in the preservation of wildlife.
Visitors can stay overnight in Kheechan, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in the sanctuary’s beauty and appreciate the birds’ unique natural environment.

DAY 7 - JAISALMER ARRIVAL & TRANSFER TO DESERT CAMP

After a short trip to the bird sanctuary (optional), guests will be transferred to Jaisalmer City.
Traditional camping arrangements will be made to greet guests upon arrival.
Guests will have the opportunity to ride on the back of a camel and watch the sunset.
The host will then lead guests to the dinner site, where they can enjoy an evening of singing, dancing, and dining to folk music.
Guests will be accommodated in a luxury campsite for a memorable stay under the sparkling stars and starry sky.

DAY 8 - DESERT NATIONAL PARK TOUR AND CAMPING STAY
